Our girl GOLDIFOX’s run at Flemington over 1400m had ‘Blackbook’ written all over it last Saturday.
In a small but quality field of 8, Goldi settled back last in a moderately run race. The favourite Good ‘n Fast settled ahead of Goldi and always looked the one to beat.
He got the better of the leaders about 100m out as Goldi was winding up and coming fast. In the end Good ‘n Fast won by a neck from Goldifox who ran the fastest splits for the last 800m, 600m, 400m and 200m.
Back to Flemington in 2 weeks time for the Listed Taj Rossi Series Final over 1600m as Bennett Racing chases it’s first Black Type result with this grouse little filly by Foxwedge.
