Another terrific run by She Shao Fly in the Gr3 Cockram Stks last Saturday. The mare has certainly hit form under Kevin Corstens training which has seen a metro win and now two stakes placings in only 4 starts for the team.
Settling a little closer than in her previous starts She Shao Fly was parked behind the leaders coming to the turn, veered outwards after a scrimmage but then darted back to the inside on straightening. In what seems to be her customary finish, the mare made great ground to be beaten less than 3 len by outstanding WA mare Perfect Jewel.
Taking her record to 3 wins & 3 3rds in 15 career starts, She Shao Fly’s prizemoney pushed over the 216k mark. It was the mares 9th start at stakes level which now boasts a win at Gr3 level and 3 placings at Group and listed level , enhancing her value when she will be offered as a broodmare at the end of her career.
