With the aid of a brilliant ride by Craig Williams Bennett Racing favourite Goldifox blitzes her opposition at Bendigo ( metro meeting) on Wednesday. After coming back from a hoof injury last year to win 2nd up at Flemington on New Years day this year, Goldifox recorded her 3rd win ( 2nd metro ) reeling in the fav to race away and win convincingly and in doing so pushed her stakes earning over the 200k mark. Now a 5yo with only 20 starts under her belt Craig Williams had the mare sitting on the back off the fav who made the pace. On straightening the fav kicked clear but was under pressure at the 200m mark and Goldifox just sailed on by with a large gap to 3rd place. A great training effort by Troy Corstens and his team from his Flemington base judging by todays win Goldifox may be in for a great prep.
