HUGE EFFORT FROM A GREAT FILLY
What a brave effort by our filly Zou Dancer in the Gr1 Australian Guineas last Saturday.
After dwelling at the start Jamie rode her forward but holding her line hoping something would come up along the rail. The fav Tagaloa came over to lead leaving the filly in the one out one back position but found herself in territory she hadn’t been in before with another horse on her outside soon after. Nevertheless she tried hard actually coming home in the 3rd fastest last 200m beaten only 1.9L to finish 5th.
What a ride shes given her owners a Gr3 winner a winner of 3 of her 5 starts and a value well over 500k and to finish 5th against the colts in Gr1 Classic company was simply outstanding.
