Apache after stepping a little slowly mustered good speed to sit outside the leader and Vlad Duric had him in a good rhythm. Taking over on straightening, he showed great determination to be in front all the way down the straight and strongest at the end. Apache’s form this time in had been patchy but with the ear muffs applied today and ridden much closer to the lead he showed his true form.

A son of Star Witness, Apache is out of the Galileo mare Coral Reef already the dam of two stakeshorses. Her lovely 2020 Deep Field filly was purchased by Bennett Racing at this year’s Magic Millions Sale. Some shares are still available in this big moving Deep Field filly.
