ABOUT HER SIRE DUNDEEL

The Champion 3YO, the six-time Group 1 winner & weight-for-age superstar of Australia. Now a major sire of 9 Group 1 winners, including G1 sires Castelvecchio & Super Seth, Celestial Legend, Militarize and 3YO filly Femminile.

Dundeel first put himself in the company of Champion Sires Snitzel, Written Tycoon, Savabeel & I Am Invincible when he claimed the No. 6 spot on the 2022/23 Australian General Sires’ Premiership.

And maintained it in 2023/24 thanks to Militarize’s spectacular Golden Rose G1 victory, Celestial Legend’s outstanding Doncaster Mile G1 & Randwick Guineas G1 wins and 7 other stakeswinners. He ended that season less than $220,000 behind Zoustar – and ahead of I Am Invincible & Snitzel – on Australia’s 3YO Sires’ Premiership.

Dundeel opened the 2024/25 season with 3 new Group winners in Melbourne, all from his 2021 crop: colts Red Aces & Kingofwallstreet, and the filly Jasmin Rouge.

His marvellous first-crop son The Inevitable added two Listed wins in December to his $2 million record, Konasana won Group races in NSW & New Zealand, Cinch won the Auraria S. G3 in Adelaide & Deel Her In is a Listed winner in Perth.

Group wins by Mare Of Mt Buller & Litzdeel and Dundeel’s 9th Group 1 winner Femminile once again put him among last season’s top 10 active Australian sires by Stakeswinners (10), Stakes Wins (12), Winners (154) & Earnings ($12.2 million).

2025 sale results reflected the on-track performance: 9 Inglis Easter yearlings by Dundeel averaged $414,000, with a top price of $750,000 for the Stay With Me colt.

Now, in 2025/26, Dundeel is holding his spot among Australia’s leading sires, adding new stakeswinners Tavs and Sydney Group 3 winner Idle Flyer to his record before the end of October. And notably, 8 of his 12 SW since 19 October 2024 are fillies.
