SIBAAQ (GB) TERRIFIC IN THE
2MIL BIG DANCE
Sibaaq (GB) put in a terrific performance to run 3rd beaten under 2L in 2mil The Big Dance at Randwick. Ridden by Chad Schofield the import was a little slow away and lost his position around the turn. He rallied in the straight and was strong on the line well clear of the 4th placegetter. Chad thought that his effort was great and the lack of early speed in the race probably didnt help.
The race had always been in Annabel Neasham’s mind after his qualifying win in the Wellington Cup and Annabel and her Team had the horse spot on for the day.
Imported into Australia after being purchased by Bennett Racing at the Tattersalls HIT Sale last year, Sibaaq has taken his earning to over 540k. The 5yo gelding (4yo to English time) was having his 6th start in Australia winning the previously mentioned Wellington Cup and placing 4 other times.
Sibaaq (GB) may back up on Saturday in the 2 Mil Five Diamonds.
