What a thrilling last stride win to Hot In Paris today at the Gold Coast. Having her 1st run for Champion Trainer Tony Gollan, Hot In Paris was running first up since September last year. The mare had a few issues and was sent to Ali Foy at Gundy Park NSW for rehab where Ali and her team went to work fixing those issues. Now a 5yo mare having just her 17th run, Hot In Paris left no doubt that she still had it recording win number 3 with promise of more to come and taking her earnings to just shy of 90k.

Slowly away, apprentice Angela Jones didn’t panic, and balanced up the mare travelling near the rear. Looking for luck Angela shifted course in the straight and burst the mare through with metres to go in the slick time of 51.28 sec. Tony Gollan was thrilled with the mares performance and thought she showed that she was up to Metro class in Brisbane.

Hot In Paris was another Bennett Racing Magic Millions buy and through niggly issues has taken time to show her best, although multi metro placed. The mare is a ½ sister to tough stakeswinning mare Skate To Paris and may now find her best form in Qld.

Congratulations to all her owners
