KALKARNI ROYALE is now building up a very nice record 3 wins from 4 starts and a City Winner now.
The filly had a luckless run at Caulfield and was no chance to build momentum, we had decided to go forward after learning that she did not enjoy it in behind horses.
She was heading to the valley at ridiculous odds where she jumped out perfectly but had to do some work as Gimme The Goss kept kicking up on her inside. Dwayne was able to get outside the leader about 400m into the race and approaching the turn the confidence grew as she was looking the one to beat.
Once she was asked to respond she did just that and showed that shes a very smart filly doing it at both ends.
The future is bright for this girl.
